A hybrid of short film and music video, the piece brings director Sike’s illustration and comics sensibility into animation through Bellolandia’s high-end production craft. Created for the Miami based band Salacia, it channels his vision into a seductive adult-oriented experience.Surreal, kinky, and emotionally charged, the film uses religious and cult-like iconography to explore desire, frustration and belonging.After a fight with her friend, a young woman runs into the glowing chaos of an amusement park. What begins as escape becomes initiation: a strange new family offers her shelter, intimacy, and pleasure. But as the fantasy deepens, so does the trouble, forcing her to confront that not everything that glitters is gold.
